As the leaders of the largest coalition in the nation for the McCain/Palin Campaign, the Florida Women for McCain, we are in the debt of our very fine leader, Florida National Committeewoman, Sharon Day.
It is our collective honor to endorse her candidacy for Secretary of the Republican National Committee.
Sharon is a tireless and talented leader with a firm grasp of Republican principles. She is highly organized and a tribute to all who follow her in leadership. Known for her ability to engage the grassroots, delegate effectively and mentor other upcoming leaders, she was the backbone of our efforts in 2008 and a tribute to the cause.
Under her direction, we were able to grow an organization of more than 12,000 women from all walks of life. Together we made more than one million calls. After the campaign, we reorganized and successfully pulled together hundreds of volunteers from our organization to help lead the efforts to reelect Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss.
We wholeheartedly endorse Sharon for the position of RNC Secretary and look forward to bright leadership in every area as we grow our beloved Party in anticipation of 2010 and beyond.
