Florida Federation of College Republicans Endorses Sharon Day for Secretary of the Republican National Committee
January 16, 2009 – The Florida Federation of College Republicans has unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Sharon Day for Secretary of the Republican National Committee. The Board agreed that Sharon Day has provided great leadership to the party in the state of Florida and has taken time to focus on student efforts.
The Florida Federation of College Republicans believes it is in our party’s best interest to be unified moving forward towards victory in 2010 and electing Sharon as the Party’s next National Secretary helps accomplish that important goal. We look forward to working with Sharon Day and expanding the relationship between the RNC and college students across Florida and the rest of the nation.
State Chairman Harout Samra noted, “Sharon’s commitment to the Republican Party here in Florida and nationally is remarkable. We have been proud to work with her in the past and look forward to continuing to collaborate with her in the future. The resolve she has demonstrated in support of Republican candidates is just what we need to reinvigorate our party.”
